How it works
Plain wiring, a different surface.
The touch surface works the same way as the plain switches — glass over your existing circuit, in the existing back box — with a small display strip added above it that pulls the time and an outside weather reading. It does not need a neutral wire the way a full panel does; the screen runs on the same circuit the switch does. Touch either zone the same way you would a plain switch.
