How it works
Plain wiring, a different surface.
Underneath the glass is a touch sensor wired into your existing circuit, in the same back box the old rocker switch used. Nothing about the wiring behind it changes — it is still your house’s own live and neutral doing the work, the glass is just how you reach it now. Touch it and the light responds the way a switch always has; the same circuit is also reachable from the app, and stays reachable by touch even if the internet is down.
